
KUALA LUMPUR, Jan. 16 -- Malaysian Armed Forces Chief Zulkefli Mohd Zin said the armies of Malaysia and China should further enhance all-round development in defense cooperation.
He made the remarks Thursday at a reunion reception of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) National Defense University (NDU) alumni, which was also attended by Chinese Ambassador Huang Huikang, Guo Ruobing, commandant of the College of Defense Studies of PLA NDU, Malaysian military officers who used to study at the NDU and their families.
Zulkefli said that the two countries' armies should take this reception as an opportunity to further promote personnel exchanges at all levels, and make contributions to the bilateral comprehensive strategic partnership.
The Chinese side said the personnel training cooperation between the militaries of China and Malaysia will further enrich their cooperation and promote mutual understanding and friendship.
