GUANGZHOU, Nov. 12 -- Two people died and five others were injured after a car transporting a suspect lost control in south China's Guangdong Province, authorities said Wednesday.
The accident happened on Tuesday in Leizhou City when the wheel of a car, which belongs to the city's procuratorate, burst, causing the driver of the vehicle to loose control.
The car, which was transporting a suspect surnamed Huang from a detention center to the procuratorate, crashed into the central reservation, according to the city government.
Four people were thrown from the car. Two of them, Huang and a police officer surnamed Chen, died at hospital. Five are being treated for their injuries.
