NANCHANG, June 17 -- A flight from Nanchang to Singapore got lost on the taxiway during a stopover in Nanning on Tuesday. The flight resumed about eight hours after the plane got lost.
The China Eastern Airlines' flight left Nanchang City at 8:14 a.m. and arrived at Nanning Airport at 10:01 a.m. where it promptly took a wrong turning and lost its way.
The flight was eventually towed off the tarmac to its scheduled gate position and all passengers got off safely.
The airline brought another plane to Nanning from Nanchang at 2:22 p.m. and the new flight took off for Singapore at 5:58 p.m..
Cause of the incident is under investigation.
