Culture Life-Achievement Prize Awarded to Zang Kejia and Bian Zhilin

Four Chinese poets have won prizes of the First Xiaxin Cup Chinese Poets Prizes. The "life-achievement prize of Chinese poets" was given to 95-year-old Zang Kejia and another old poet Bian Zhilin by China Poetry Association on January 20, each got a bonus of 10,000 yuan. Contemporary poets Lu Yao and Zhu Zengquan won the "1998-99 poet prize", with a bonus of 5,000 yuan for each of them.

"Xiaxin Cup, Chinese Poets Prizes" is designed to promote the development of modern literature.
