China China Appoints Heads of Liaison Offices in Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR

The State Council has appointed Jiang Enzhu and Wang Qiren as directors of the liaison offices of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR) and the Macao Special Administrative Region, respectively.

Jiang and Wang were former heads of the Xinhua News Agency Hong Kong Branch and Macao Branch, respectively.

Seven deputy directors -- Zheng Guoxiong, Gao Siren, Wang Fengchao, Liu Shanzai, Zou Zhekai, Chen Fengying (female) and Zheng Kunsheng, and one assistant director -- Wang Rudeng have been appointed to the Liaison Office in the Hong Kong SAR.

Four deputy directors -- Li Shuilin, Zong Guangyao, Ke Xiaogang and Wang Jinxiang have been appointed to the Liaison Office in the Macao SAR.
