China Executive Council of Macao SAR Passes Two Decrees

The Executive Council of the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) January 12 passed two administrative decrees.

One of the decrees is about the use of revenue stamps. It stipulates that the Macao SAR government will adopt new revenue stamps. Before new stamps are introduced, old ones issued by the former Portuguese Macao government will remain valid with the printing of a special seal.

The other decree adopted at the Executive Council is related to the use of a new symbol for vehicle license tax.

In addition, the 10-member Executive Council passed a decision to divide the council into three groups in charge of legal, educational and cultural affairs respectively, so that public opinion can be well collected and the SAR government policies can be properly worked out. (Xinhua)
