China Chinese Vice-Premier Meets Japanese Guests

Chinese Vice-Premier Wen Jiabao met in Beijing January 11 with Taichi Sakaiya, director-general of the Economic Planning Agency of Japan, and his party.

Wen said that China and Japan are economically complementary, and bilateral economic cooperation will benefit to the development of the two countries and to the stability and development of Asian economies.

Zeng Peiyan, minister in charge of State Development Planning Commission, attended the meeting. After the meeting, Zeng conferred with Sakaiya on economic situation and policies of the two countries.
