Sports China Shines on First Day of FINA Swimming

The FINA World Cup short-course swimming Shanghai leg opened on January 4. China won 13 out of total 17 golden medals on the first day. Following are the reports from Shanghai.

Qi Hui led the Chinese swimmers a 1-2-3 victory in the women's 100 meters breaststroke in 1:07:50 seconds at the FINA World Cup short-course swimming Shanghai leg Tuesday.

China's Ou Yang Kunpeng won the men's 100 meters backstroke with a time of 53.32 seconds.

Yuan Yi of China won the women' s 100m butterfly with a time of 58.36 seconds on Tuesday.

Zhan Shu of China won the women 's 200 meters individual medley in 2:11.11 seconds.

Han Xue of China won the women' s 50 meters freestyle on Tuesday with a time of 25.34 seconds.

Chinese swimmer Xie Xufeng won the men's 100 meters individual medley Tuesday with a time of 55. 33 seconds.

Chinese swimmer Zhang Qiang won the men's 50 meters butterfly Tuesday night with a time of 24,58 seconds.

Bei Li of China won the women' s 50 meters backstroke on Tuesday with a time of 28.50 seconds.

Zhu Yi of China won the men's 50 meters breaststroke by clocking 27:91 seconds.

China's Xie Xufeng won the men' s 400 meters individual race on Tuesday in 4:12.26 seconds.

Chinese Chen Hua won the women' s 800 meters freestyle Tuesday with a time of 8:23.00 seconds.

Cheng Hao of China won the men' s 200 meters breaststroke with a time of 2:11.19 seconds.

Yang Yu led China dominated women's 200 meters freestyle with a winning time of 1:56:54 seconds.

Shanghai is the forth leg of FINA World Cup short-course swimming.
