Sci-Tech China Succeeded in Raising Freight Train Speed

Experiments in raising freight train speed on a 100km-long railway from Qingdao to Gaomi in early November have been reported successful lately in China. According to organizers from Sifang Vehicles Research Institute under the Ministry of Railways, freight trains in China will be raised from 70-80km/h.to a speed of 90-100km/h. The highest will reach 117km/h.
