Outstanding artists and performers from 24 countries presented programs and artwork during the festival.

Most of the plays performed at the festival were well-known classical works with special national characteristics. The participation of some world-class arts groups, including the BBC' s Welsh Orchestra, the French National Orchestra and the Kirov Ballet Troupe of Russia contributed to the success of the festival.
