Sci-Tech Over 4,000 Personnel from Abroad Helped to Conduct Scientific Research in China

Sources from the Ministry of Personnel say: There are already more than RMB100 million yuan having been used to help about 4000 returned personnel from abroad and 500 overseas Chinese students to carry out on a short-term basis scientific research in China following a special project set by the state.

Notable social economic results have been achieved in China by its carrying out of the project. First, many returned persons have been helped with an easy start and to have become rest assured with their life and daily work back in China. Second, by providing more opportunities and various work conveniences for overseas students to know more about China and have contributions made to the motherland it has helped the country in the work of finding a greater supply of personnel from abroad. Briefly speaking, the project has much contributed to new advances in Chinese economy and the work of scientific research and as a result of these there are several over 100 million yuan worth of projects that have been created in China.
