China Macao SAR Chief Executive-Designate Visits Hometown

Ho Hau Wah, chief executive- designate of the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR), went back on November 20 to his hometown Panyu in South China's Guangdong Province.

Ho was in the town of Shilou to witness the opening ceremony of a park to celebrate Macao's return to the motherland on December 20.

The park was built by various youth societies and local people in Macao and features a monument, a wall resembling the Great Wall of China and coconut trees.

In the evening, Ho, his wife and his mother attended a gala party.
