Steffi Graf, who is retiring from one of the strongest tennis careers in the history of the sport, will face South African Amanda Coetzer in three matches in December.

The tournament is part of Graf's farewell world tour.

"Steffi and I are probably the most competitive women tennis players in the world," Coetzer was quoted Wednesday as saying in an interview with the South African Press Association.

"This is a serious challenge ... and I can promise it will be both entertaining and competitive."

The matches will take place December 7 in Durban, Dec. 10 in Stellenbosch and Dec. 12 in Johannesburg.
