Sports Czechs Draw with Netherlands 1-1

Czech Republic played the Netherlands to a 1-1 draw in a friendly soccer match in Eindhoven, Netherlands on Saturday.

The draw means Dutch coach Frank Rijkaard has now gone 11 matches without a victory.

A second half goal from Jaap Stam put the hosts ahead when the Manchester United defender converted a Ronald de Boer free kick just before the hour.

But the Czechs levelled the score less than 10 minutes later when Karel Poborsky pushed the ball through to towering Anderlecht striker Jan Koller, who knocked it easily passed goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar.
