China Presidential Envoy Leaves for Tajikistan

Li Dezhu, Chinese minister in charge of the State Ethnic Affairs Commission, left Beijing for Dushanbe November 13 as special envoy of Chinese President Jiang Zemin, to attend the inaugural ceremony of President Emomali Rakhmonov of Tajikistan.

Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Guchang and Tajik ambassador to China Djamshed Karimov saw Li off at the airport.
