Editorial Protection of Grain Producers' Interests Stressed

All grain administrative departments or units in charge of grain supply and circulation are called for an all-round implementation of the state grain policies promulgated last year in order that the grain producers' interests are well protected.

"Greater grain storage capacities should be developed throughout China. When going in for further reform of China' grain circulation system, all related departments and units should place themselves wholly at the service of the grain producers. Make it sure quality services are provided when the farmers' grains are purchased. No grain sales from the farmers should be refused and no quality degrading to harm their interests in grain purchasing should be allowed," the author urged.
