Symposium on Chinese and US Hospital Management

����A symposium on hospital management attended by leading doctors of large hospitals in China and the US was recently held in Shanghai.

����The two-day event was sponsored by the International Exchange Center of China's Ministry of Health and the 999 Group, a large medicine producer in south China.

����Doctors from hospitals in Yale, Newhaven and Jefferson appeared at the symposium providing information and a general introduction to their hospitals as well as issues such as financial management. China's medical care system has undergone a series of reforms in the last several years. Officials from the Ministry of Health were invited to provide participants with information on reforms and changes within hospitals in China.
