Ecuadorian President Visits Shenzhen 　　Visiting Ecuadorian President Jamil Mahuad Witt arrived at Shenzhen on September 2 to continue his week-long visit to China. 　　During his stay in Shenzhen, he and his party visited a local hi-tech company and some scenic spots, and planted trees marking friendship between China and Ecuador. 　　Wang Ju, deputy mayor of Shenzhen, briefed the guests on social and economic development in Shenzhen. 　　The visitors will leave for Hong Kong tomorrow.
