Crystal Palace Wraps up China Tour with Second Win
England's Crystal Palace wrapped up July 15 its China tour with a 2-1 record after beating Chinese first-division defending champion Dalian Wanda on penalty shoot-outs in Daqing, Heilongjiang Province, China.
Neither team found the net in 90 minutes before the Crystal Palace won the penalty shoot-outs 4-2 in the Daqing stadium in the northeastern city, which is famous for its oil fields.
The London-based first-division club beat first-division Beijing Guo'an 2-1 in the opener of their tour on July 10 in Beijing.
They lost to second-division team Yunnan Hongta 8-7 on penalty shootouts on Tuesday in Kunming, Yunnan Province after two sides drew 2-2 in regular. (Xinhua)
