Sino-US Specialists Held a Symposium on Biotechnology in Agriculture
In the morning of July 12, the academic hall of the Northwestern Agriculture University is packed with people and peals of applause resounded in the hall. A Sino-US agricultural biotechnology symposium is being held there.
At the symposium, experts from the two countries exchanged knowledge on the latest development of biotechnology application in agriculture in their own countries. They expressed the idea that the meeting will be a good start for a furthering of expanded communication and cooperation in agricultural biotechnology between the two countries.
Over 70 experts from California University and Connecticut University of the US and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing University and Northwestern Agriculture University in China attended the symposium. The symposium will conclude on July 15.
