8th Seminar on Cross-Straits Relations Closed ¡¡¡¡The Eighth Seminar on Cross-Straits Relations ended in Quanzhou, Fujian, on July 14. In the two-day meeting, scholars from China's mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong and abroad exchanged wide-ranging views on cross-straits trade, economic and political relations. They discussed the economic situation across the Taiwan straits, the trend of Taiwan investment in mainland, scientific and technological cooperation between the two sides and the development framework of the cross-straits relations. ¡¡¡¡Vice-President of All-china Federation of Taiwan Compatriots Su Minsheng delivered a closing speech.
