China Hails 38th Anniversary of Sino-DPRK Treaty
The Chinese Embassy in Pyongyang held a dinner party on July 13 evening to mark the 38th anniversary of the signing of the Sino-Korean Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance.
Wan Yongxiang, the Chinese ambassador to DPRK, said that it is in the interests of both countries to further develop friendly relations.
Vice-Chairman of DPRK's Supreme People's Assembly reaffirmed in his speech the DPRK government and people's devotion to the traditional Sino-DPRK friendship.
This year is also the 50th anniversary of establishment of formal diplomatic relations between the two countries.
