Vice-President Hu Jintao Greets Children 　　Vice-President Hu Jintao attended an exhibition in Beijing June 1 and offered holiday greetings to the country's more than 360 million children on behalf of the central Party and government authorities. 　　Children from various ethnic groups across China participated in the exhibition to mark "Children's Day." 　　Vice-Premier Li Lanqing also attended the exhibition during which teenagers and younger children outlined their family histories, displayed their favorite toys, chatted with other people and voiced their ideas concerning the future. 　　Hu offered suggestions to teachers and other individuals who work to ensure the healthy growth of the country's future generation. 　　He encouraged youngsters to follow the instructions of President Jiang Zemin, study hard and work for the rejuvenation of the motherland in the next century.
