About 330,000 Foreign-Invested Enterprises Have Been Launched in China

ĦĦĦĦ At the end of April this year, there were as many as 329,237 foreign-invested enterprises that have been launched in China and these have been run with a total contract investment of US$583.941 billion and an actual amount of US$277.693 billion that have been used.

ĦĦĦĦHowever, according to sources from the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, a severe situation is still presented in the country in the effort for making use of foreign investment. From January to April this year, there were 4,925 new foreign-invested enterprises that have been approved in China. The sources say that these claim merely an investment of US$11.418 billion and an actual amount of US$10.24 billion to be used, showing respectively a drop of 13.66%, 15.78% and 12.6% less than the same period of last year.
