The device, called the Mi Max, features a massive 6.44 inch full-HD display in a 7.5 mm body and prices start at 1499 RMB (around 230 USD). The screen of Mi Max is 87 percent larger than the iPhone 6 and 37 percent larger than the iPhone 6s Plus.

The company also unveiled a new operating system-MIUI8, it features a new design and major app updates for Gallery, Notes, Calculator and Scanner.
