BEIJING, March 26 -- A total of 9.3 billion ringgit worth of deals were inked at the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace exhibition, according to the latest Malaysian media reports.
Malaysian Minister of Defense Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein said the exhibition provides a platform for aviation and maritime industries to expand regional and overseas business and promote mutually beneficial partnership.
The biggest deal, valued 6 billion ringgit is the contract between Malaysian CTRM Aero Composites and U.S. UTAC Aerospace about production and supply of composite components for Boeing B787 and Airbus A350.
