BEIJING, March 4 -- China has condemned a terrorist attack that killed at least 11 people in a court in Pakistan on Monday morning.

"We express our grave condolences to the victims and deep sympathies to their families," Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang said at a daily news briefing on Tuesday.

China will continue to support the Pakistani government and the people's efforts to maintain national stability, Qin added.

Apart from the 11 killed, another 24 people were injured in firing and twin suicide blasts by militants in Pakistan's capital of Islamabad.
