BUDAPEST, March 3 -- The Hungarian foreign ministry firmly condemned the murderous attacks commmitted in Kunming, the capital city of Yunnan province over the weekend, the ministry said in a statement on Monday.
Hungary condemns all forms of terrorism and deems all meaningless violent acts targeting innocent civilians unacceptable, the statement said.
The ministry expressed condolences to the families of the victims.
Knife-wielding attackers slashed frantically at crowds at a railway station in Kunming in southwest China's Yunnan Province on Saturday, killing 29 people and injuring 143.
