BEIJING, Nov. 8 -- Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao met here on Friday with Croatia's former president Stjepan Mesic.
Li said China-Croatia relations had entered a new stage since the two sides established a comprehensive cooperation partnership.
The two countries are facing emerging opportunities and share broad prospects for further cooperation, he told Mesic, who is in Beijing for a political forum.
China will work with all countries - including European countries - to expand cooperation for mutual benefits, Li said.
Mesic hailed the friendship between the two peoples, saying he will contribute to bilateral economic ties and trade, as well as Europe-China cooperation.
