KIEV, Feb. 20 -- Street clashes erupted anew here Thursday, killing at least seven, Itar-Tass reported.
The latest clashes happened just hours after Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich announced a truce with protesters.
Top officials were evacuated from Ukraine's main government building close to clashes in the heart of the capital, according to witnesses.
Kiev has witnessed the bloodiest violence in demonstrations that began last November, with 26 killed and 388 injured overnight on Tuesday.
