Beijing now offers subsidies to the potential buyers of seven new-energy vehicle models.
A new list of new energy vehicle types was released on Mar. 11 by the Beijing Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology and Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, with five new models included: the JAC Heyue iEV, BAIC C70GB, BYD-Daimler Denza EV, BMW Brilliance Zinoro 1E and SAIC Roewe E50.
The first two models released in late February were the BAIC E150EV and BYD E6.
The JAC Heyue iEV car will be sold at only 74,800 yuan (12,065 U.S. dollars) after the subsidy is deducted, making it the cheapest among all.
The subsidy for buying a BAIC C70GB, the electric version of the Senova D Sedan, is 95,000 yuan (15,323 U.S. dollars). The car, expected to enter the market in April of this year, will probably be priced at more than 200,000 yuan (32,258 U.S. dollars).
