China's lunar rover wakes with mechanical problems unresolved

BEIJING, March 14 -- China's moon rover Yutu woke up again at 6:42 a.m. on Friday after its third dormancy but its mechanical control problems has not been resolved, according to the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defence (SASTIND).

Yutu and lunar probe Chang'e-3, which woke up on Wednesday, are carrying out effective explore tasks as scheduled, the SASTIND said.
