font size

Chinese Taipei coach Lin Bowen is full of confidence that his rowing team will book a first ever Olympic ticket in the Asian qualifying tournament Shanghai on Thursday.

Chinese Taipei took part in all the four disciplines and mainlytargeted on men's and women's singles title.

Wang Minghui and Jiang Qianru separately lead the above two disciplines in heats and are considered as qualifiers hopeful since only 13 men fight for six berths and 11 women for five tickets.

Lin said that Chinese Taipei did a great job in the 2003 Asian junior rowing championships as they bagged three golds from women's double sculls, women's quadruple sculls and men's eight.
