Reception Marks 30th Anniversary of China-Lebanon Ties

The Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) held a reception to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Lebanon Thursday.

The Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) held a reception to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Lebanon Thursday.

Chen Haosu, president of the CPAFFC, and Zeidan Saghir, Lebanon's ambassador to China, attended the reception.

China and Lebanon have a long history of friendship, Chen said. The friendly cooperation between the two countries has been enriched and promoted over the 30 years, and exchanges in various fields and at various levels have been increasing in recent years, said Chen.

The two countries have good cooperation in international affairs, said Chen, saying the prospect of China-Lebanon relations is brighter.

Saghir said he is satisfied with the development of Lebanon-China ties. Through joint efforts by the two governments and the two nations, the all-round bilateral friendly cooperation will be boosted in the new century, he said.
