PHNOM PENH, July 15 (Xinhua) -- The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) projects have played a "monumental role" in infrastructure development and connectivity in Cambodia, Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn said. In a recent written interview with Chinese media, Sokhonn said evidently, massive infrastructural projects, including roads, bridges, seaports, airports, railways, hydropower dams, and communication satellites among others, are already underway in Cambodia, and these projects are all top priorities for economic development.

BRI: A pathway to a bright future for mankind

In 2013, Chinese President Xi Jinping proposed the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). To date, 149 countries and 32 international organizations have now joined the initiative in the spirit of win-win cooperation and the concept of building a community with a shared future for mankind.
