Alashankou port in NW China’s Xinjiang explores digital system, improves clearance efficiency

Last year, Alashankou port, northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, cleared 15 million tons of import and export cargos, up 12 percent from the previous year. The port witnessed a total of 5,027 inbound and outbound China-Europe (Central Asia) freight train trips in 2020, a year-on-year increase of 40.
