The ‘Two Sessions’ are the two most important political meetings of the People’s Republic of China (PRC). They are annual gatherings of the National People's Congress (NPC) and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).
Belarus, on behalf of 70 countries, recently delivered a joint statement at the 46th session of the UN Human Rights Council to reiterate their support for China's practice of "one country, two systems" in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), emphasizing the special administrative region is an inseparable part of China. Belarus said in the joint statement that Hong Kong affairs are China's internal affairs and should not be interfered by external forces.

Statistics show that all 9,180 suggestions submitted by lawmakers to last year's annual session of the National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislature, had been handled by late January, with feedback given to relevant NPC deputies.
