While demonstrating China’s resolve to expand opening-up, the event, which boasted larger scale, broader participation and greater popularity than the first one held last year, has vividly reflected the enormous strength and vitality of Chinese economy.

China has developed a path of intellectual property rights (IPR) protection with Chinese characteristics through perseverance and constant exploration. The country was ranked 14th among more than 100 economies worldwide in a global innovation ranking in 2019 by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), moving up 11 spots from 2016.
