Wulf-Diether Graf zu Castell-Rüdenhausen, a former Lufthansa pilot, worked in China from 1933 to 1936. In his numerous flights over the north and south China, he took aerial pictures of the country with a unique perspective to explore and discover Chinese scenery, landscape, ethnic culture and historical relics with a Leica camera to keep his impression of China.
