The Third Plenum of the Ninth Central Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang (RCCK) was held in Beijing on November 29.

In a work report delivered today, He Luli, chairwoman of the RCCK Central Committee, said that, the RCCK has made an active contribution to China's reform and modernization drive, maintaining social stability and the country's peaceful reunification in 1999.

The RCCK committees at all levels have submitted 1,393 proposals so far this year, and they were highly valued by relevant government departments, she said.

Referring to the major tasks for next year, He Luli said the RCCK should implement the tasks outlined by the Fourth Plenum of the 15th CPC Central Committee, play an active role in democratic supervision, safeguard the principle of "One China," and promote the realization of the reunification of the motherland.
