Editor's Note

In response to Hezbollah militants' killing of three Israeli soldiers and the capture of two others in July, 2006, Israel troops bombed hundreds of targets in Lebanon, including Beirut's airport and Hezbollah's headquarters in southern Beirut. Hezbollah launched rocket attacks targeting northern Israeli cities. The military conflict leaves hundreds of Lebanese civilians dead.
