China welcomes the proposal made by the United States on eliminating agricultural export subsidies by a certain date, said Chinese Vice-Premier Wu Yi Thursday in Beijing.
The trade volume between China and the US hit a historic high of 126 billion US dollars in 2003. China has become America's third largest trade partner. Imports from the US reached 34 billion US dollars, while exports to the US exceeded 92 billion US dollars.
