Taiwan-based followers of the Falun Gong cult hijacked mainland satellite signals twice in the past week, the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council said in a news conference on Wednesday.
Though the influence of the cult has declined on the Chinese mainland, the cult's hierarchy has continued to fight overseas against the Chinese government.
In recent years, the Falun Gong cult has repeatedly sabotaged various public communication systems and even hijacked national satellite broadcasts, resulting in serious damage to the public order on the Chinese mainland.
