An unmanned Indian aerial vehiclewas shot down by fighter aircraft of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) inside the Pakistani territory at 23:00 hours on Friday, a Saturday press release from the Inter Services Public relations said.

Jiang said that only through negotiations can a just and reasonable resolution be found for the disputes; China appreciated Musharraf's repeated position that Pakistan will, proceeding from its own national interests, fight against terrorism and its internal religious extremist factors.
