LHASA, July 15 (Xinhua) -- Zhao Shijun, former deputy head of Tibet's now-defunct administration for industry and commerce, has been under investigation for suspected severe violations of discipline and law, local authorities said Wednesday.

Zhao, also former Party chief of the administration, has turned himself in, according to the discipline inspection commission and supervisory commission of Tibet Autonomous Region.
