The Solana Lifestyle Shopping Park, located in Beijing’s Chaoyang District, set up an unattended counter at the entrance to the mall on March 8, giving out free presents to anyone who has contributed to the fight against the epidemic, Beijing Daily reported.
On the day the counter was put up, it received donations from more than 20 businesses, including pizza, milk tea, bread, cola and toys.
Volunteers in the fight against the epidemic, including medical workers, deliverymen, traffic police, urban inspectors, cleaners, taxi drivers and anyone else who has served the public amid the epidemic, can take a present from the counter for free.
