A group of graffiti works at the Leishenshan Hospital, a makeshift hospital in Wuhan built at the epicenter of the novel coronavirus for the purpose of battling the virus, went viral shortly after they were posted online.
The photos were taken by Peng Yi, a doctor with the medical aid team from the Hubei Cancer Hospital at Leishenshan, after getting off from a long 12-hour shift.
The graffiti works were mostly created by members of medical aid teams from northeast China and depict Wuhan’s best-known food street Hubu Lane, the city’s famous snack Hot Noodles with Sesame Paste, scenic areas in northeast China, and renowned Chinese respiratory specialist Zhong Nanshan, among others.
The paintings also demonstrated the medical teams’ optimistic faith that the epidemic control effort will be victorious.
