Peng Xinye, an art student in a senior high school, has drawn pictures to express his gratitude to the medical workers in the Fangcang Hospital in Wuhan, the epicenter of the novel coronavirus outbreak.
According to Peng, after he was diagnosed with COVID 19 and admitted into the hospital on Feb. 6, the hospital workers and other patients not only took care of him, but also provided better conditions for him to study for the National Entrance Examination to College, which he is supposed to take this year.
When he saw how busy the medical workers were treating the patients, Peng wanted to record those touching moments through his sketches.
His paintings depicted the daily work of the medical workers, such as sending medicines to the patients and making the rounds of the wards.
With the help of the doctors and nurses, Peng is now recovering, and has already come back negative on a nucleic acid test.
