(People's Daily Online)    16:26, August 12, 2019

A Silk Road Cultural Week with the theme of “Qixi Festival” is being held at the Macrolink Tongguan Kiln Ancient Town, the former site of the Changsha Tongguan Kiln, between August 3 and 7.

A variety of interactive events, including touring around the town in ancient costumes, praying for blessings, and enjoying a light show, are arranged for visitors to enjoy a unique and romantic festival.

Visitors also have chances to experience colorful traditional events such as embroidery making and paper cutting, which are held at the town’s Embroidery Museum. A video contest is also taking place on Tik Tok, China's short video sharing platform. Those who would love to speak loudly of their love may have a chance to get free admission to the town.

Between July 1 and August 31, the ancient town offers night tour tickets, 100 CNY/person (at half price of the original) for visitors who enter the town after 16:30.
