Bruce Lee's former residence in Yong-qing-fang, Guangzhou reopened to the public after a three-month renovation period.

The residence, bought by Bruce Lee's father, Li Haiquan, is a two-storey home and covers an area of over 200 square meters.

The house still boasts the main characteristics from its era, such as the carved girder and the glass screen with carved patterns, but has been renovated to include 13 different chapters, each representing Bruce Lee's major life experiences and achievements.

The Kung fu master turned actor is still revered from martial arts and movie fans both from home and abroad, and this exhibition has given them an opportunity to have a look into the life of the star.

"His charm presented in his personality. He not only knew Nunchucks. He was not arrogant and continually absorbed other kinds of martial arts, like Mantix Boxing and Wing Chun".

Lee was a key figure in making Chinese Kung Fu popular throughout the world. He made his name in Hollywood after his appearance in the TV series titled "The Green Hornet" in 1966, and began to teach martial arts in the United States in the 1960s.
